Appco Group Energy - npower

Appco Group and npower have worked together since the launch of npower in 2000. Prior to this Appco Group represented Calortex (one of the former gas and electricity supply companies that combined to become npower). This relationship started in February 1996 and is the longest established client relationship within the Appco Group across the world.

npower is a leading energy company in the UK and is part of the RWE Group, one of Europe’s leading electricity and gas companies. It serves around 6.8 million customers and produces around 8% of the electricity used in Great Britain. npower supplies green energy to Wembley Stadium and the Liberty Stadium in Swansea.

With 350 Field Representatives speaking to 80 customers every day Appco Group raises the awareness of npower's brand to over 8 million customers every year.

The sales Appco Group make account for a significant proportion of npower’s domestic energy sales every year and are a vital part of our entire sales strategy.

Appco worked with npower throughout the de regulation of the market in the late 1990s and the set up of the Energy Retail Association; major changes which have helped shape the industry as it is today. As a direct result of this experience and knowledge Appco Group’s advice has been sought by other countries looking to set up similar schemes.

Appco is a long standing supplier of sales and marketing agency services to npower. Appco has responded to the changing regulatory and commercial market conditions in gas and electricity supply to deliver quality sales for npower. I have only worked with Appco for around 6 months but in that time I have been impressed by the professionalism and commitment of Appco's staff and have found senior management easy to work with and open to change.
